Club Residential

The club residential based at Badaguish was a very successful event, with 30 club members staying over 2 nights. On the first day junior members covered first aid proceedures and senarios, followed by a stunning night ride with views under the milky way, using new Frog Lights presented at prizegiving. Day two Carl, Jules and Bob held bike maintenace sessions, with adults participating to.

Diane, John and Pauline's catering was just wonderful (too good - I ate far too muc). Thanks needs to go to Walkers Shortbread, Highland greengrocers and Tesco's for their contributions to the food. And finally a huge thanks to Cairngorm National Park and Leader Plus who have supported this 3 year mountain bike safety course.

5 Stages Race Peebles - September

This was a weekends racing, involving 5 disciplines over 2 days. 6 members attended the weekend racing, with the competition really hard. The girls did well with Elena achieving Silver and Rona Bronze (joyous at a first in the downhill despite chatting right up until the start line). Jamie only justs missed out on bronze, and Finlay and Scott worked so hard in the older boys catagory, the competition here was exceptionally strong, and they both gave a fantastic performance.
